Much like the foot of snow on our table that is now gone, Christmas came and went with the usual unbelievable speed! We had a wonderful holiday in Squamish, and we are now enjoying a relaxing second week of school holidays. It was a true White Christmas, with snow every day (and almost enough to prevent me from getting to Squamish in the first place... BIG THANKS to W & M for chauffering me via 4x4 Jeep to North Van, where Dad and M picked me up in Ole Reliable, aka the Trooper, for the remainder of the journey North). The usual combination of (too much) good food, good company, and some new toys made for a relaxing, laughter-filled holiday. It was a landmark Christmas as well... the first Christmas with NO Lego or dolls! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas as well, and that 2009 gives you a nice, smooth ride!
