Ottawa 1

I went to Ottawa (via Calgary) for some training from October 28th to November 9th.   These pics are from the flight east.  From top to bottom:  Leaving Abbotsford at 6am, just as we got above the cloud layer and the full moon shone on us.  With the sun up, most of BC stayed hidden under a blanket of clouds.  On the far side of the Rockies, the clouds broke up a little to show us the cold, barren landscape (some people call it "Alberta").  At the bottom, Calgary twinkles under the clouds as we come in for a landing about 815am local time.  The rest of the trip east was over a solid blanket of clouds.  We didn't see the ground again until we were barely 150 meters above Ottawa!
