We didn't get the memo!

The earliest the road to the top of Mt. Baker had opened was around mid-June several years ago.  We found out last week that the road to the top opened in mid-May this year, over a month earlier than ever!  Needless to say, we saddled up and rode off to see what it looked like up there.  For comparison, the photo below was taken July 6, 2014, the first day we were able to ride to the top last year.   What a difference a year of global warming makes!
