October 22, 2015 - The trip to Paradise begins

Just after 6 pm on October 22, 2015.  The sun sets to the west of YVR, just before they start to push our plane away from the terminal.  Hawaii is only 6 hours away!  We arrived at 9:30 pm Honolulu time, so there weren't any pictures of our arrival "day", as it was already night time!
