Did you hear something FALL?

Well, if that doesn't look like Fall, I don't know what does!
After a dismal summer (luckily, the two best weeks were the two weeks we were on vacation!), it appears that Fall is now trying to make up for it and impress us with its impression of what a season is supposed to look like!
The routine of school, work, dance and soccer has been reestablished, and the calendar is again plugged solid with commitments. I can count on one hand the number of lawn-mowings left, and I am already planning how/where to stash all the stuff that has to come in from outside!
The one up-side to having a smaller yard is that you have less square feet of leaves to rake!
The down-side to Fall: it's dark in the morning when I go to work, and near-dark when I come home. Happily, the City has finally replaced the wire stolen out of our streetlights, and it isn't pitch-black on our street anymore.
Drive safely with the darkening conditions, wet roads, and kids coming and going from school!
John
