... I'd have my very own airplane collection, just like Paul Allen! We were back at Paine Field today for the last Flying Day of 2010, just in time to see the ultra-rare actual Battle of Britain veteran Bf109E fly today, along with the very unique Fieseler Storch. Both of these WWII veterans are part of Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection housed at Paine Field. The weather was superb... hot sunshine with nary a cloud in the sky! Althought not as completely satisfying as the P51/P47 combo two weeks ago, it was still impressive to see these meticulously restored and maintained warbirds flying. There are rumours that the number of flying days will be reduced next year, but the number of planes increased each day... I would be all for that!
