So, this is what the end of two glorious, hot, sun-filled weeks in Hawaii looks like.  What could be more perfect than a double-rainbow to end your vacation?  We went for our ritual "last morning swim" down at Kuhio Beach on Saturday morning before heading for the airport, and Mother Nature decided to wish us doubly well on our way home.  The luck lasted all the way home, despite more than the usual number of crying babies on the flight, including the endlessly crying one in the row right in front of my sister (she turned her headphones up louder).  The kids and I were surprised three hours into the flight to see that there was an 8-month old baby in the row in front of us! She ended up sleeping nearly the entire flight!  Our bags came around the carousel corner right as we walked up, and we were on our way home in no time at all. After a dinner break at Denny's in Arlington, we were home by 1:30am, and we piled into bed right at the time change at 2am.  Many thanks again to Aunt Jo, the expedition photographer, who captured this and many other family moments on the trip!
