Start on two legs...

 

We started 2015 with a nice, leisurely walk on the top of Eagle Mountain.  K stands at the western edge of the top of the mountain above.  The views are spectacular, even on a cool, cloudy and very smoky January 1, 2015.  The top of the hill has the basic services (roads, street lights, sewers) installed, but the first house has yet to be built at the very top of the mountain.  Some of the homes will have unmatched 180+ degree views of the Fraser Valley, with Mt Baker below as a centerpiece, and Mt Cheam and its counterparts two below as the eastern view.  In the bottom photo, the white sign on the tree in the center reads "Warning! Forest is under video surveillance!".
