Supreme light, mountains and rockets, oh my!

So, after everyone begged me after last weekend to be sure to let them know when we were riding again, K and I rode south and back with no compadres, as everyone had a reason not to go today!  Nonetheless, we had a wonderful time, fried dill pickles and all, enjoying the low 20s temps and mostly empty roads to cruise a couple of  hundred easy kilometers today!  The light was spectacular for photos, and we ended the day with a treat at Rocket Donuts in Bellingham... where staff truly appreciated my (Joe) Rocket jacket!
