What 30 years gets you...

Rode to lunch in Langley today with old friends, and took our 1st year production 1984 GPZ900 Ninja.  Came back out to find this parked next to us - the 2014 30th Anniversary ZX-14R Ninja.  To say it's a beast is an understatement.  The 1984 Ninja weighs 503 lbs, has about 100 HP, and a top speed of 243 km/h.   The 2014 Ninja weighs 593 lbs, has about 190 HP, and a top speed is "limited" to 299 km/h!  It's a beautiful machine, and a fitting tribute to the original... and a one-day "lottery bike" in my dream garage!
