
So, this is what the sunset looks like on a record-setting day, the hottest July 29th since they started keeping records some 70 years ago. The mercury topped out at a measured 34C, with a Humidex reading near 43C... in other words, HOT HOT HOT!

The sunset tonight, the 30th, at about 8:30pm... with the temperature still near 30C. It is as hot as the flaming sun looks!

Another view of the sunset tonight... the clouds look pretty, but there's not a drop of rain in them!

As the sun drops behind the mountains to the West, the sky gets even more red and hot-looking... not a drop of breeze to bring relief.
