So, despite the falling temperatures, cold nights and chilly mornings, our little hummingbirds keep coming around... might have something to do with the free breakfast, lunch and dinner, hmmm??? We were surprised to see 3 of them still hanging around... which almost went down to 2 when Jewel grabbed one that had stunned itself hitting the deck glass while fighting with one of the others... but K sprang into action and sooner than you can say "Animal Rescue", she had the little sparkler out of the cat's mouth and shortly after it flew away, seemingly uninjured! Sooner or later, these 3 are going to have to give in to their genetic programming and head south, but until then, we'll enjoy their sparkly appearances!
