Super Moon Follows Shadowy Sun
The "Super Moon" from Saturday March 19, 2011... the closest the moon will be to Earth for a while... seen through the magic of my father's 500mm lens. If you click on the photo, it will show you a larger version that reveals more amazing details. Below, the sun in the blue sky is reflected in the Squamish River, having burned a hole through the grey clouds which ring it. With Spring Break the past two weeks, I haven't had much time to update the blog, what with entertaining the kids and all... I will do my best to put up a few posts to show what's been going on the past while!
