Spit stop

 

 

The top three photos of the group are taken on the unique and cool breakwater along West Beach Rd on the west coast of Whidbey Island, near Joseph Whidbey State Park.  The bottom shot is of my bike at the front of the line on the Mukilteo Ferry.  None of the bikes around me belong to anyone in my group... as they weren't on the ferry with me!  They were loaded on the previous ferry while I was paying, and they sailed off without me!  How is that for loyalty!  Luckily, we were happily reunited on the far shore, and set off for a superb lunch in Coupeville before heading home.  All in all, a long day that started at 7:15am in the border lineup, and saw me arrive home just after 9:00pm.
