This is the end... no, really... this is the end.

 

October 15, 2013... aka "Insurance Expires at Midnight Day"".  After a long day at work and some errands, I had barely 30 minutes of good daylight left to get one last spin in.  After 28 minutes of riding, I pulled over at one of my favourite local photo spots to snap a few final shots for the year.  I moved over to another viewpoint and managed to capture the sun setting behind the bike to drive home the metaphorical point that the sun has set on another year of riding... powerful stuff, no?  Anyway, as you can see in the bottom photo, Mother Nature showed up to remind me it really was time to go home and put the bike away for Winter.  Six more months and we can do it all over again!
