Old Friends, Old Bikes, New Bike

 

June 1, 2014 - a good day to welcome another new bike to the fold.  S and G added to their stable with the arrival of their BMW K1300S... the copper, fully-faired beauty just behind mine in the photo below.  It's the mate to the "naked" copper BMW K1300R two back.  Rounding out the squad was K on the blue "baby" Ninja, and W and J on the lovely blue 1300 V-Star.   We travelled 260 kms through the wonderful 20C sunshine, south along Chuckanut Drive, east to Rte 9 to lunch at the Big Lake Bar and Grill ("biker friendly"), and north home via the back roads.  Another great day to be on two wheels!
