Sunshine and Mountaintops!

 

Friday September 5, 2014... up Mt Baker again, this time with old friend and riding buddy, A, on his trusty Suzuki Intruder, and new riding buddy G, on his pristine, mint 1998 Honda 1100 Shadow.  The weather was amazing, the views superb (can you spot my two riding pals in the shot above, as they enjoy the majesty of Mt Shuksan?), and the food at the bottom ("Grahams", in Glacier) was absolutely delicious!  A day of superlatives, indeed!  I gave the Old Girl a good wringing out, and she certainly answered the bell.  Smooth sailing all the way home... right into the empty Nexus lane, next to the 45-minute lineup for the average folks.  Good thing I bought A and G ice cream at Edaleen's before I totally abandoned them to that lineup!
