The Last First Day and the First First Day

 

A milestone day today... the first day of Grade 12 for J.  Do you ever wonder where 12 years of your life have gone?  It seems like just yesterday that a precocious 6-year old was off to Grade 1!  The lead up to today included suit shopping with Dad and Mom on Saturday for his first "real" suit... what an eye-opener when he came out of the change room.  Somehow, the boy who went in came out a young man in a suit.  Mom got a little misty, but hid it well.  He has done nothing but make us proud of his school efforts so far, and we don't foresee Grade 12 being any different!
