Get, while the getting is good!

 

We took advantage again this Sunday of a day where none of the 3 of us had to work, and the weather remained on our side.  This time, we headed south for one of our favourite rides - the "Darrington Loop", as we like to call it.  The temperature was perfect for riding.  The roads were mostly empty, and with the exception of some emergency braking to avoid all 3 of us participating in an accident north of Sedro-Woolley (thanks to an unaware youthful driver, an unflinching senior driver, and two completely clueless cyclists), the ride was spectacular.  We enjoyed a hearty, tasty, and totally unhealthy lunch at Nutty's Junkyard Grill in Arlington, WA (trust us - you want to eat there!), before heading back home.  As end-of-season rides go, it was a keeper!  And, of course, it is always much more fun when your two favourite riding companions are along for the ride!
