I'm on Top of the World!

It doesn't get much better (or higher) than this when you are looking for spectacular views in Hawaii. J is standing on the 2nd lookout at the top of the trail to the Makapu'u Lighthouse at 4:00pm on October 25, 2011. To his right are the larger Manana (Rabbit) Island and the smaller Kaohikaipu Island, both bird sanctuaries. To his left, in the distance past the dark land mass, is Waimanalo Bay.  From here, you are looking practically due North. The hot climb in the blazing sun was well worth the reward!
