Bridging the gap...

Feeling terribly left out after hearing about my adventure with BooBoo yesterday, K insisted that she deserved one more ride before the insurance ran out.  Being the dutiful husband that I am, I gave in once the hounding got unmanageable.  Having learned from the day before, I made her wait until noon, when the fog was gone and the mercury was up to at least double digits (12C).  We made it across the border in good time (considering it was Thanksgiving Monday!), and I took her south on a new road that BooBoo and I had just tried out for the first time yesterday.  It was just as much fun going the other way!  We then rode south and had a delicious lunch at the Blue Mountain Grill, where we met two other biking couples who each had their own bikes.  Seeing the two riding ladies, including one on a 2013 Kawasaki Z1000, K's interest in leaving the passenger seat and moving forward increased some more.  After lunch, we meandered back along another back road we found earlier in the summer, complete with a one-lane bridge built in 1915.  After a few shots (including one of K doing her best America's Top Model pose), we headed back home and only had to endure a 30-minute lineup to get  back over.  Next year - Nexus passes all around!
