Project "CSJ"

So, my handsome son and I have talked a lot about a motorcycle restoration project.  The factor stopping us has always been the initial $$$ outlay to purchase the project.  Well, as of yesterday, that is no longer an issue.   The little jewel above, a 1985 Yamaha FZR 250 with only 31,000 kms on the clock, has come into our possession, along with a complete 1987 FZR 250 parts donor (it's a donor because the engine wasn't running when it was purchased, so it may not end life as a parts donor!).  The purchase price for both bikes was very, very attractive, making the project much more feasible.  As it sits, it probably only needs a battery and a tune-up to get running,  but we're going to knock it down to the nuts and bolts and give it a thorough cleaning before it get's reassembled.
