Oysters and Hams...

Last Sunday, September 28, 2014, was the always wonderful and wacky Oyster Run in Anacortes, Washington.  A disappointingly small group of us made our way down in brisk, foggy, damp morning weather, but once past Sedro-Woolley and heading west, the fog disappeared, and by noon, the sun was blazing.  The rough count this year is again in the 15,000 to 20,000 bike range... every make, every modification, every custom build... and that was just the people!  The Cossacks (above) put on their usual amazing show, riding Harleys of 1946 or older vintage (I think some of the riders are from that vintage, too!).  Odd moment of the day?  Sitting on a bench waiting for our table at lunch with the president of the Washington chapter of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang standing in front of me!  Many more pics to follow soon... work has just kept getting in the way this week!
