Road Trip, Oregon and back, Day 1

On July 18, 2016, K and I set out on our bikes for a 7 days, 6 nights trip to Oregon and back.  Day 1 saw us leave bright and early, cut south and west over to  Whidbey Island and the Coupeville-Port Townsend Ferry, and then diagonally across the Olympic Peninsula to Long Beach, WA.  Our destination for the night was Klipsan Cottages - a collection of several cottages a short walk away over the sand dunes from the endless Long Beach.  The weather was cooler than normal, and a bit cloudy, but we had the right gear, and the riding temperature was just fine.  Our cottage was wonderful, and we highly recommend Klipsan Cottages to anyone looking for a base in the area.
