Plenty of sunshine, plenty of... no, we don't need any more of that other stuff!
What a gorgeous day!
This is exactly why we choose to live way out here on the Left Coast, home of the insanely priced real estate, the insanely liberal judges, the insanely dangerous traffic, and the just plain insanely insane!
One day of fantastic sunshine and a reading on the old thermometer of 22C, and we are ready to put up with anything!
Still, the sight of the first bikini of the year (waterskiing at Albert Dyck park, nonetheless!) goes a long, long way to soothing the savage beast.
** Note to self: Bald head + Blazing sun = Not good! Remember sunscreen next 5 months! **
It doesn't hurt that we are also enjoying a long weekend, and one during which many people leave town... that helps with both the traffic and the insanity... until everyone comes rushing home at the same time, that is!
Still, after being wet and soggy for nearly all of March, it truly was "Out like a lamb", and now we can sit back and not make any plans to deal with the historic floods that are apparently coming our way!
