Rock 'n' Tile

The changes will be coming fast and furious now, as the house construction enters the final two weeks. The kids and I went by for a look today, and lo and behold, we have rock on the front and tile in the entranceway!

Paint and carpet are coming next week, and then it's just a matter of the little finishing touches.

Then, we get to move all of our tired, old stuff into our shiny, new house! Funny how finishing off the basement vapourizes the "New Furniture and Stuff" fund, isn't it?

Of course, buying a new house also vapourizes the "New Cars and Stuff" fund, and the "Vacations and Stuff" fund... you really don't need Matt Damon to do the math on this one, do you?

As compensation, I will be putting my feet up on the deck, closing my eyes, and dreaming of all that "Stuff", while trying to psychically trying to divine the next set of winning lottery numbers!
