London Calling - VII

The 7/7 memorial to the lost lives in the Underground and Bus bombings in July 2005. We just happened to see it on 7/7/2010... very powerful, especially when you happen to be there when several family members were also there.
If you are going to be stuck in London traffic, be stuck in style! I missed out on a shot of the $2M Bugatti Veyron parked at the Dorchester Hotel when we rode past on our bus tour. The 6 cars parked in front of the Dorchester were probably worth nearly $4M.

The tiny, easily-missed marker to Tyburn Tree, where 60,000 Londoners were hanged to death long ago.

One of history's greatest treasures - the Rosetta Stone in the British Museum.

This poor guy lost his map for the Underground. Actually, he's another of the BM's amazing displays.
