GoPro on a Stick!

OK, another way to have fun with your GoPro camera, with only a minimal increase in the risk level (come on, you're already on a motorcycle to begin with!):

1.  Attach GoPro camera to extendable GoPro monopod
2.  Set the camera to Time Lapse mode (10 seconds works well - check traffic between shots!)
3.  Stick the whole thing into your tank bag, with the camera sticking out
4.  Get your bike up to the speed limit (in this case, 50 mph)
5.  Push the power button on
6.  Remove the monopod from the tank bag and begin taking selfies at 50mph
7.  Awkwardly shift your bike into the proper gear to tone down the screaming rpms!
8.  Remember, there is no need to smile if you have a mirrored visor
9.  Return GoPro to the tank bag prior to having to downshift through 5 gears (just saying...)

The  Twins, looking as magnificent as ever, with Mt Baker peeking over their shoulder on the left.   The shot above, and the three below, were taken on my Nikon D3100... I can't believe the colours in the pic below (completely unedited).   All in all, a Top 10 riding day today!
