There is nothing like a military band in England at Buckingham Palace to get you going. Here, the band leaves their marshalling area to head for the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

Building sandcastles on the Thames bank. This is one of the few places we saw with an actual "beach" area.

The Southbank Lion. He is a happy-looking fellow, guarding the south end of the London Bridge next to the London Aquarium.
