Two massive 15" naval guns greet you as you approach the Imperial War Museum... you have to stand next to them to appreciate their size.

As you walk in the door, you are greeted by a Jagdpanther, a heavily-armed and armoured German tank from WWII. There is a cutaway on the side so you can see both how thick the armour is, and how unlikely the odds that you would like to be inside one!

The actual Brough Superior ridden to fame by "Lawrence of Arabia"... the real one, not Peter O'Toole!

The rear fuselage of the ME110 flown to England by Rudolf Hess in May 1941 during his bizarre and possibly misguided attempt to secure a peace between England and Germany, on the eve of the German invasion of Russia.

The Nazi Eagle that sat on the top of the Reich Chancellery in Berlin. It was removed by the Russians, and given to a British officer by Russian officer in 1946.
The Imperial War Museum is an absolute must-see for history and/or military buffs. From the tiniest of buttons to large-scale models and full-sized aircraft and tanks in the main lobby, it is full of the most incredible artifacts.
