
So, Monday July 12 saw K and I go our separate ways, with me heading north to see the RAF Museum in Hendon, and K heading west to Windsor Castle.

The first sight that greets you as you walk up to the RAF Museum is a Spitfire and a Hurricane coming right at you... there's got to be a way to get these home and into my yard!

Main hall, left side. The entire century of aviation in one room - very impressive!

Main hall, right side. I forgot to ask what is supposed to be in the big empty spot on the floor... next visit, I will do so!

Oi! You! Stop touching that historical artifact or I'll have you deported! Apparently, salt from your sweaty summer hands absolutely destroys WWII-era paint and aluminium (we're in England, it's not a typo!).
